Summary of Position:

The Mechanic is responsible for both preventative and daily repair and scheduling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment
• Schedule preventative and daily repairs
• Inspects, operates and tests equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and its components

Essential Education and Qualifications:

• Must have the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair heavy equipment
• Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with employees and customers

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hydraulics and electrical
• Experience working in the field ideal

Physical Demands:

• Requires endurance to stand, stoop, bend and work on and under equipment
